Reference

My oldest friend and I have not lived in the same city for fifteen years. We speak every few weeks, sometimes about something important and often about nothing at all. What surprises me is how little the distance matters. When we talk, we fall straight back into the same rhythm, as if the years apart were just a long pause in one continuous conversation.
