About Fast 5
Fast 5 gives you a category and asks for five things that fit. Five rounds allow up to two and a half minutes of activity time. Medium and Hard add reasons and constraints. Entries are counted, but you review whether they fit the topic yourself.
How to play
- Choose Easy, Medium or Hard, then choose Start speaking or Type instead - the timer starts when your microphone is ready or typing begins.
- Read the topic, then speak your five answers - one word or a short phrase each.
- On Medium and Hard, say a short reason with each answer, not just the word.
- No microphone? Switch to Type instead and the game plays the same way.
How your speaking is checked
Your snapshot counts responses and words or list entries. Review your answers against the prompt yourself; these counts do not assess pronunciation, fluency, or English level. Speakflew does not send game transcripts or recordings to its server. Your browser's speech service may process microphone audio remotely.
